Runners, Pleased be advised that sign up is at the HS but that parking is at a premium in the immediate area. Many other parking options are available in nearby Quincy Square.
The school will be open at 6:30 and will close at 1:00.
Rest rooms are available in the school but are limited, the YMCA across the street is available. The Y is also available for post race showers, (bring you own towel).
Coddington Street is closed. The start and finish on Coddington will uninpeded from thru traffic. There will be plenty of Police support on the route, but not all streets are closed. They will be monitored by Quincy Police and State Police, but please use caution and observe all coned off running lanes. As of now coned off lanes will be all along Quincy Shore Drive, Hancock after you exit Shea and Hancock near the finish as you circle First Church at City Hall. The course is closed at 12:00 noon. You can finish but will no longer have the support of Quincy Police, please use your judgment and get to the side of the road or side walk. No headphones No strollers No roller blades No walkers.
There are speed bumps in mile 2 at Shore road and a few pot holes on Shea in mile 9.
